- wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water or antibacterial sanitizer gel
- take the rubber bands of the protective mask and attach them to the ears
- adjust the ferret on the nose for greater grip and wearability
- make sure the mask covers the mouth and nose
- don't touch the face, much less the mask
